Our BJÖRK NORDIC EYE + NECK MOISTURIZER CREAM was created to make a top end facial product line under the SCÄNDIC banner. We decided that this line would include Nordic ingredients like; sea buckthorn oil imported from northern Scandinavia, and silver birch essential from Sweden. This product is a great addition to this line as its focus is on the treatment around the eye area. It is a great compliment to our facial moisturizer; ÄNDERS BRÄNNFØRS NØRDIC ÖRIGINS FACE & NECK MOISTURIZER.

This is our line of premium Scandinavian derived face, eye, and neck moisturizers. They were formulated using many sourced Scandinavian ingredients. They contain pure therapeutic grade organic essential oils. Our ÄNDERS BRÄNNFØRS NØRDIC ÖRIGINS FACE & NECK MOISTURIZER is formulated using Jojoba Oil as our base oil. We have also sourced several “super fruits” from Scandinavia that result in a synergistic blend that creates a very premium moisturizer. Arctic Cloudberry Seed Oil (Finland) and Arctic Lingonberry Extract (Sweden) are highly antioxidant ingredients that are excellent for skin cell regeneration and a reduction in wrinkles. Chaga Mushroom Extract (Finland) and Rhodiola Extract (Northern Scandinavia). We use “sulfate/ paraben free preservatives” phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol in our facial moisturizers. Our BJÖRK NORDIC EYE + NECK MØISTURIZER CREAM also includes the wonderful ingredient; evening primrose oil which is a great ingredient used in the eye area. Our ÄNDERS BRÄNNFØRS NØRDIC ÖRIGINS FACE & NECK MOISTURIZER is packaged in a cobalt blue glass jar with a black phenolic cap and placed in recycled chipboard box. Our BJÖRK NORDIC EYE + NECK MØISTURIZER CREAM is packaged in a clear PET jar with cap and placed in recycled chipboard box.
The quality ingredients that go into this product include the following:
Organic jojoba oil is a botanical extract of the seed of an evergreen shrub. Technically it is not exactly an oil, but a wax ester. This wax ester is very similar to human sebum (our natural skin oil). It is extremely close to our skins natural pH and aids in the balancing of our skins oil production. The ingredient Jojoba provides all day moisturizing, and it is used in all of our hand and body moisturizers, deodorants, facial products and beard oil.
Used in the base mix of oils, coconut oil is derived from the coconut fruit. This vitamin rich oil is used in body care products for its naturally emollient (softening) and lubricating properties. This gentle oil is naturally antiseptic and antioxidant, making it a great ingredient for the skin. Hydrating and soothing make this oil a perfect addition in skin care.
Cloudberries are wild berries that grow all over Finland, but are most abundant in boggy areas around the Arctic Circle. Because of its ability to survive temperatures of -40° F, the Cloudberry is one of the few flowering plants to have spread to the farthest north. Its geographical location, with nights that are significantly colder than the days, enables Cloudberries to produce twice as much vitamin C as oranges. Cloudberry Seed oil contains large amounts of linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid (omega 6 & omega 3), vitamins A and E, and plant sterols. It strengthens skin, prevents aging and due to its antioxidant effects, protects skin from external factors. Moreover, the detoxification properties of Cloudberry Seed oil help to make the skin look brighter and more radiant. The benefits of Cloudberry seed oil have been studied in numerous independent cosmetic labs. It has been proven from investigations in independent labs in Finland to be one of the most effective antioxidants for preventing oxidation of the skins structure.
The Lingonberry is Scandinavia's most widely harvested wild berry. It grows in dry soil, especially in spruce forests and lichen-covered ground. Lingonberry is very popular as an ingredient for its beneficial effects on skin. The berry extract contains large amounts of flavonoids, moisturizing properties, phenol compounds and antioxidants. The seed oil promotes skin renewal. Antioxidants and essential fatty acids (omegas) provide the skin with important nutrition. The leaves of the Lingonberry plant contain arbutin, which has a lightening effect on skin discoloration. Lingonberry has high levels of vitamin C, which protects and brightens the skin.
Phenoxyethanol is an organic compound derived from Sage essential oil. It is one of the most widely used safe and effective preservatives in dermatological products such as skin creams. Phenoxyethanol also works as a topical antiseptic. It provides a broad spectrum anti-microbial activity against either gram-negative or gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. Caprylyl Glycol, which is probably the most effective “humectant” available today. It is naturally derived from coconut and has the unique property of protecting against microbial growth from bacteria and yeast, while giving the finished product exceptional feel. (sulfate/ paraben free)
Borage seed oil is derived from the extracted oil of the seeds. It is extremely high in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) that is extremely beneficial to skin. It exhibits a potent anti-inflammatory effect on the skin and also is very effective in regulating water loss and protecting the skin from injury and damage. Borage seed oil is especially beneficial to people with eczema and psoriasis. Simply put, Borage seed oil is just good for your skin.
Extracted from the bark of Birch trees in northern Scandinavia, Birch imparts a wintergreen scent and is very beneficial to skin, especially with its anti-inflammatory qualities. Birch also possesses a lightening effect to the skin.
Extracted from the flower of the Evening Primrose plant. Rich in essential fatty acids, Evening Primrose contains essential fatty acids which have a nourishing effect when applied topically to nails, scalp and hair. In hair care products it brings luster to dull hair. It has also been shown to be effective in reducing puffiness in eye moisturizing formulations.
This is a powerful humectant. It is said to absorb 1000 times its weight in water, making it the perfect ingredient in facial and skin care products.
This is a natural silicone that is very healing and smoothing to the skin. Again, a perfect ingredient for a facial moisturizer
Apply to neck, face, and especially the eye area. This cream should be applied on a daily basis. This cream is especially good for the removal of eye puffiness. Be careful not to get any of the cream in the eyes.
