We added the Ulrik’s Beard Oil due to multiple request online and at the Raleigh Farmers Market. We formulated a great beard oil by starting with two of the best base oils: Argan and Jojoba, to create a greasy-free blend. We then added our Scandinavian influence in the organic essential oil blend of: eucalyptus, fir and pine. We then completed the mix with natural vitamin E.

This is our line of premium Scandinavian derived organic bath and body products. They were formulated using mostly sourced Scandinavian ingredients. They were all given product names of Nordic origins. They contain pure therapeutic grade essential oils (most are organic). Our Nørdik Ulrik&squo;s Beard Oil is formulated using Argan oil and Jojoba oil as our base oils. We add a synergistic blend of organic essential oils: eucalyptus, fir and pine to create a very pleasing scent. We are very proud of this line offering as Mike&squo;s grandparents emigrated from Scandinavia; his grandfather from Finland and his grandmother from Sweden. Our beard oil is packaged in a cobalt blue glass bottle with a black dropper and a rectangular label attached.
The quality ingredients that go into this product include the following:
Organic jojoba oil is a botanical extract of the seed of an evergreen shrub. Technically it is not exactly an oil, but a wax ester. This wax ester is very similar to human sebum (our natural skin oil). It is extremely close to our skins natural pH and aids in the balancing of our skins oil production. The ingredient Jojoba provides all day moisturizing, and it is used in all of our hand and body moisturizers, deodorants, facial products and beard oil.
Argan oil is most commonly used as a skin moisturiser to hydrate and soften skin. With its high vitamin E and fatty acid content, argan oil is the ideal product to give skin a natural boost. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy and non-irritating, which makes it a great natural moisturiser.
This oil is extracted through steam distillation of the leaves and branches of the Eucalyptus tree. Fragrant and fresh, this oil has naturally deodorant and expectorant properties. Eucalyptus is a scent that reminds us of renewal and new life to our senses.
Steam distilled from the needles of the Fir tree. Fir essential oil has a sharp crisp, clean scent of fir needles. Fir essential oils comes from the tree that grows widely across areas of northern Scandinavia. The Scandinavians used Fir Needles in the sauna, and it was used as an aromatic in bedding. Fir essential oil is especially effective in the relief of muscle pain.
Steam distilled from the needles of the Pine tree, this woodsy essential oil has a refreshing and invigorating aroma. Used in aromatherapy, studies have shown Pine essential oil to exhibit antimicrobial activity when diffused. Some use it topically to relax muscles due to its soothing and antioxidant properties. It is especially good for troubled skin that aids in the treatment of eczema.
Tocopherol is the organic chemical compound of vitamin E and is an antioxidant and cellular renewal ingredient.
Add 2 or 3 drops to the palm and massage into the beard. This will nourish the beard and any dry skin of the face. Repeat as needed.
